Radar Hill Trail

Our first stop was Radar Hill, a short wheelchair accessible walk up a paved path to a site that was cleared for a World War II radar site. This short walk claims panoramic views of Clayoquot Sound, although the most exciting thing we saw as a Stellar Jay. There are a few wooden platforms and benches to sit on at the top of the trail, and you can also see evidence of the foundation of the building site.
To get there drive 9.8 km north from the Green Point campground, turn left at the Radar Hill sign and continue about 1.5 km up the hill to the parking lot. There is no beach access from Radar Hill.
